Retailer Old Navy has voluntarily recalled a stuffed animal toy because it's button eyes can detach and pose a choking hazard to children, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced today. The stuffed animals, made by British company Creature Toys and manufactured in China, come in a variety of styles and are made out of cotton, according to the release. The eyes, made of plastic buttons, could be hazardous, but no injuries or deaths have yet been reported. Consumers are advised to take the toy away from children immediately and return it to any Old Navy store for a full refund. If purchased online, contact Old Navy. Consumers who return the toy before July 1 will also receive a $5 coupon toward a future Old Navy purchase. see more on NewsOK.com
